Hey guys just wanted to tell you where and what Big Creek is.

Where It Is.
Well its right off of exit 7a in Roswell Ga, you take Holcomb Bridge Rd then take a left on to Old Alabama Rd and it will be on your left in a gravel parking lot.

What's There.
At Big Creek there is a XC trail filled with easy to advance trails. In the back which can be accessed by taking the cross country trail or by parking in back and biking down the pavement for about 1 tenth a mile. The freeride section is filled with jumps and trails that are big bike friendly. You can connect different trails to make a real good run or just stick with the route you start on. There are gullies, table tops of a variety of sizes, bmx jumps, and some gap jumps. It is also filled with burms, and some rock gardens.

GREAT RACE, Carters Lake (Ellijay, Ga) Held its second annual downhill mtb race today. They had about a 100 people or so there. It was great it started practice at 9:00am with a shutle to take you back up. The shuttle closed at 12:50 or so and a meeting was held for the riders. The meeting entailed which classes would start when and what the format would be. The format was chosen by the riders, the choices where either combined time or best run. As we all expected they chose BEST RUN! The womans class went first followed by under 14, Beginner, Intermediate,  and OPEN/PRO class. The womans, beginners, and 14 and under rode the beginners run. As the Intermediate and OPEN/PRO classes ran the advance run. The runs were great and exciting.  No one was seriously injured everyone except one mans bike. A racer in the OPEN/PRO class had blown out his tire and tube. All in all the race was great and every one had fun.
